Monterey Bay F.C. 2 Kicks Off Inaugural Preseason with Scrimmage Against Cabrillo College

SEASIDE, Calif. (Friday, April 14, 2023) – Monterey Bay F.C. 2 (MBFC2) officially began its first-ever preseason this week ahead of the development club’s inaugural season in USL League Two this summer. MBFC2 wrapped up its first week with a scrimmage against Aptos’ Cabrillo College at Cardinale Stadium on Thursday night, April 13.

MBFC2 now continues its inaugural training camp with eyes on the upcoming Salinas Classic preseason friendly against San Jose’s Quakes II on Saturday, April 22 at the development club’s home site, Rabobank Stadium in Salinas. Monterey Bay F.C. 2 will then begin the 12-match USL League Two regular season on Saturday, May 6 as hosts to San Francisco City FC.
