Monterey Bay F.C. announced today Taylor Farms as a new member of the Monterey Bay F.C. Investment Group and as an Official Partner of the club.
“We are so thrilled that Taylor Farms has joined our group of investors,” said Monterey Bay F.C.’s Chairman, Ray Beshoff. “Their passion for our community is unparalleled. Their influence touches every corner and they’ve become a staple of community leadership throughout Monterey County. We couldn’t have thought of a better addition to our investment group.”
A third generation produce grower-marketer, Bruce Taylor, and several partners, founded Taylor Farms in 1995 and has since become a leading supplier of fresh cut salads and healthy fresh foods with production locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“Taylor Farms is honored to support the Monterey Bay Football Club,” said Bruce Taylor, Taylor Farms Chairman and CEO. “This investment is dedicated to all of our Taylor Farms team members in celebration of the commitment and teamwork they bring to our organization daily.”
As part of the multi-year partnership, the Taylor Farms logo will be prominently displayed on the right sleeve of the team’s kit for both home and away matches. Additionally, Monterey Bay F.C. and Taylor Farms will collaborate on a community initiative in which the club will donate $500 for every goal scored to a non-profit organization(s) of Taylor Farms’ choice.
“We are so proud to have Taylor Farms on our kits,” said Monterey Bay F.C. president Mike DiGiulio. “They are such a strong local leader and we’re looking forward to the great impact our partnership will make on our incredible community.”
Along with their kit placement, Taylor Farms will have extensive exposure throughout Cardinale Stadium on match days including in-stadium assets and integration onto Monterey Bay F.C.’s digital platforms. Fans will also be able to enjoy Taylor Farms’ products which will be available in the Stadium Plaza throughout the season.
“This partnership aligns perfectly with many of our core values and the mission of our club,” said DiGiulio. “To curate and promote a healthy lifestyle while also giving back to our community is something that is very important to our club. We’re so glad to have our friends at Taylor Farms share that vision and make the decision to join us.”
