On how the team feels following the result:
“We looked a little leggy in the first half especially, and I think emotional from the Tuesday night game. But I’ve got to tip my hat to the guys in the second half, I thought we got after it. We had chances to score. We weren’t quite on our game. I think we probably had enough in the second half to get a win, but we’ll take the point. We didn’t lose. Another clean sheet, two in a row, so I’m pleased with that.”
On extending the unbeaten streak to six matches:
“It’s good, we knuckled down. We’re doing a good job of stopping the opposition from scoring of late. We’re playing organized, we’re making sure it’s difficult for any opponent to get shots off and crosses and all those things. The guys have worked hard at that and it’s showing now. It takes a while to sort of get into that rhythm and we’re in that rhythm now where we’re tough to beat. It’s a shame tonight we couldn’t just get that one goal to make the difference in the game, it would have been great. I thought they played well in the first half and coming into halftime I said the good news is, it’s nil-nil when it could have been probably one-nil for them. That’s football. I felt in the second half we got into the game and got our game going a little bit better. I thought we deserved to score a goal in the second half.”

On the recent stretch of games:
“Obviously, there have been a lot of games in a short amount of time, so we were a bit tired. We were expecting to win today. Obviously we did not get the result we wanted, but we just have to keep our heads up. We got a tie out of this game – we didn’t lose at home and that is the most important thing. We just have to look forward to Friday’s game.”
On keeping ground in the standings despite tonight’s result:
“Of course anybody would rather take the three points, but if not, we would rather take one point than none. At the end of the day, we did not lose. And for me and the team, that is the most important thing. We just have to keep going.”
